Welcome to Ari
By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
- We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post updates on this page and update the Effective date when we make material changes.
- Separate terms may apply to enterprise, API, or developer offerings. If we offer those, they will be made available separately.
- Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose personal information. It is a separate document but is incorporated by reference regarding data practices.
Who we are
Ari provides a conversational AI experience designed for business teams, including chat and workspace organization. Features may change as we improve the product.
Registration and access
Minimum age. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older.
Accounts. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when you register. You may not share your account credentials or allow others to use your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that entity.
Sign-in methods. If we allow sign-in through third-party providers (for example, OAuth), you authorize us to access and store information from that provider as permitted by your settings with them and their terms.
Using the Service
Subject to these Terms, you may access and use the Service in compliance with applicable law and any acceptable-use or community guidelines we publish.
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes, or to violate others' rights (including intellectual property, privacy, and publicity rights).
- Attempt to probe, scan, scrape, or stress-test the Service in ways that impair stability or security; circumvent access controls; or reverse engineer our software except where applicable law forbids this restriction.
- Use the Service or its outputs to develop or train competing models or services in violation of our terms or technical limits we communicate.
- Upload or solicit content that exploits or endangers minors; contains malware; or is used for phishing, spam, or impersonation.
- Rely on the Service for high-stakes automated decisions about safety, legal rights, or material outcomes (for example, medical, legal, or financial decisions for others) without appropriate human review and compliance with applicable regulations.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or pose risk to the Service or other users.
User content
You may provide input to the Service (for example, messages, prompts, or files you upload) ("Input") and receive generated responses ("Output"). Together, Input and Output may be referred to as "User Content" where applicable. You are responsible for your Input and for how you use Output.
To the extent permitted by law, you retain ownership of your Input. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited license to use Output for your lawful purposes. Because of the nature of AI, similar Output may be produced for different users; Output does not necessarily belong exclusively to you.
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, process, and display User Content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service; to enforce these Terms; and as described in our Privacy Policy. If we offer controls for training or product improvement, those controls will govern where stated.
Accuracy. AI systems can produce incorrect, incomplete, or offensive content. You should verify important information and not treat Output as professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise).
The Service is provided "as is"
We may ship new features, including beta or preview functionality. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. You use the Service at your own risk.
Our intellectual property
We and our licensors own the Service, including software, branding, and documentation. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
We may collect usage and diagnostic data as described in our Privacy Policy. If you submit feedback or suggestions, you grant us permission to use them without obligation to you, except where prohibited by law.
Privacy and security
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. No security practice is perfect; you acknowledge residual risk and agree to use strong passwords and notify us promptly of unauthorized account use where we provide a contact method.
Fees and paid features
Some features may be offered on a paid or subscription basis. If you purchase paid access, you agree to the pricing and billing terms presented at checkout, including automatic renewal where applicable. Taxes may apply. Unless required by law, fees paid are generally non-refundable. We may change prices with reasonable advance notice where required by law.
Termination and suspension
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time where the product allows. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute terms) will survive termination.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that outputs are accurate or suitable for any purpose.
Indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify Ari and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents against third-party claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ari and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.
Copyright complaints
If you believe material on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to the contact below with the information typically required under applicable law (for example, identification of the work, the material on our Service, your contact details, a good-faith statement, and a statement under penalty of perjury where required). We may remove or disable allegedly infringing material and terminate repeat infringers in appropriate cases.
Governing law and disputes
Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of [U.S. state — e.g., Delaware or your state], excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country say otherwise.
Venue. Subject to mandatory law, you and Ari agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in [county and state or country] for disputes arising from these Terms or the Service, except where applicable law requires a different forum for consumers.
European Union. Ari does not offer or provide the Service in countries in the European Union. If you are located in an EU member state, you may not access or use the Service.
General
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Changes. We may update these Terms. Continued use after the Effective date of changes may constitute acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
- Severability. If a provision is invalid, the remainder remains in effect.
- Export. You will comply with applicable export and sanctions laws.
