1. About Ari
Ari provides a conversational AI experience for business teams, including chat and workspace organization, delivered through our web Service. We may use third-party infrastructure and AI model providers to operate the Service; their practices may also be described in their own documentation.
2. Personal information we collect
We ask that you avoid including unnecessary personal or sensitive information in prompts and other inputs; however, we cannot control what you submit. We may collect personal information from you and about your use of the Service. Examples are below. Depending on how you use Ari, not every category will apply.
Account data
If you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, company or workspace name (if you provide it), account credentials or authentication identifiers, and similar registration details. If you sign in through a third-party provider (for example, an OAuth provider we enable), that provider may share profile or identifier information with us according to your settings and their terms.
- How we collect it: Directly from you, or from an authentication provider you choose.
- How we use it: To provide, secure, and maintain the Service; to communicate with you about your account; to provide support; to improve the Service; for analytics in aggregated form; and for legal, safety, and compliance purposes.
- How we disclose it: To service providers that assist us (such as hosting, authentication, email delivery, analytics, and security vendors); in connection with a business transaction; to affiliates as needed to operate the Service; when required by law; and when you direct us to share information with a third party.
Payment data
If you purchase paid features, payment information (such as card details) is typically collected and processed by a third-party payment processor. We may receive limited billing status, transaction identifiers, and subscription metadata—not full payment card numbers stored on our own servers, unless we tell you otherwise at the point of collection.
- How we collect it: Through you and our payment processors.
- How we use it: To process payments, provide access to paid features, prevent fraud, and meet legal and accounting obligations.
- How we disclose it: To payment processors and other service providers involved in billing, and when required by law.
Communication data
If you contact us (for example by email to support@ariagent.app ), we collect the information you send, such as your name, email address, and message contents.
- How we collect it: Directly from you.
- How we use it: To respond to you, provide support, improve the Service, and comply with law.
- How we disclose it: To service providers (such as email and ticketing tools), and when required by law.
User content
You may provide content to the Service, including messages, prompts, and files ("Input"). The Service generates responses ("Output"). Input and Output may collectively be referred to as user content. If you include personal information in Input, it may appear in Output or in logs we maintain for security and operations.
- How we collect it: Directly from you when you use the Service.
- How we use it: To provide the Service, including generating responses; to improve safety and quality; to develop and improve features and models where permitted by our Terms and any in-product controls we offer; and for legal and security purposes.
- How we disclose it: To service providers and AI infrastructure partners that process data on our behalf; when required by law; and in connection with a business transaction.
Feedback
If we offer ways to rate or report issues with the Service (for example, thumbs up or down, or feedback forms), we may collect that feedback and related session metadata.
- How we collect it: Directly from you.
- How we use it: To improve the Service and for safety and analytics.
- How we disclose it: To service providers and as otherwise described in this policy.
Technical data
We automatically collect technical information such as IP address, device and browser type, general location derived from IP, pages or screens viewed, referring URLs, timestamps, and similar usage diagnostics. We may use analytics tools to understand how the Service is used.
- How we collect it: Automatically when you use the Service, including via cookies and similar technologies.
- How we use it: To operate and secure the Service, troubleshoot, understand usage, and improve performance and features.
- How we disclose it: To analytics and hosting providers and as otherwise described here.
Location data
We may derive approximate location from your IP address. We do not ask for precise GPS location unless we introduce a feature that requires it; if we do, we will explain the purpose and, where required, seek consent.
Cookies and similar technologies
We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, authenticate sessions, measure performance, and (where applicable) support security. You can control many cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may limit functionality.
Sensitive information
We do not ask you to provide sensitive categories of personal data (such as health data, biometric data used for identification, or information about race, religion, or trade-union membership). Please do not submit such information in prompts or account fields unless we explicitly request it for a specific, lawful purpose.
3. How we use personal information
We use personal information for purposes including:
- Providing and maintaining the Service — including accounts, workspaces, chat, and payments.
- Support — responding to requests and resolving issues.
- Improvement and research — developing features, monitoring usage trends, and improving reliability and safety, consistent with our Terms and any settings we offer.
- Communications — service-related messages, security notices, and (where permitted) information about the Service.
- Security and integrity — detecting abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.
- Legal compliance — meeting legal obligations and protecting rights.
We may aggregate, pseudonymize, or de-identify information so it no longer identifies you, and use it for analytics and improvement. We will treat such information in de-identified form and not attempt to re-identify it except where permitted by law.
4. How we may disclose personal information
- Service providers — hosting, database, authentication, analytics, customer support tools, AI and security vendors, and other processors who assist us under contract.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.
- Legal and safety — to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our terms, and protect users, the public, or Ari.
- With your direction — when you ask us to share information or integrate with a third-party feature you choose.
5. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, for legitimate business operations (such as security and accounting), and to comply with legal obligations. Retention periods depend on the type of data and the reason for processing. When you delete your account or content where the product allows, we will delete or anonymize information within a reasonable period unless we must retain it for legal, security, or dispute-resolution reasons.
6. Security
We implement technical, administrative, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; you are responsible for safeguarding your password and device access.
7. Links to other sites
The Service may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to read those policies before providing information to them.
8. Children
The Service is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us at support@ariagent.app and we will take appropriate steps.
If you are under 18, you may not access or use the Service.
9. Privacy rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based; and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Laws vary by region.
To exercise rights that apply to you, contact support@ariagent.app. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. If we deny a request, you may have a right to appeal under applicable law—we will explain any appeal process in our response.
Automated decisions and Output. Outputs are generated by AI and may be inaccurate. We cannot always correct factual errors embedded in model outputs; where the law requires, we will respond to requests within the limits of what is technically feasible.
Authorized agents. Where applicable law allows an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf, we may require proof of authorization.
Do Not Track. There is no consistent industry standard for responding to browser "Do Not Track" signals; we do not change our practices solely based on those signals.
10. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the Effective date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice as required by law. Continued use of the Service after the Effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy, to the extent permitted by law.

To report child safety concerns related to the Service, contact support@ariagent.app with a clear subject line and relevant details. We take such reports seriously and may cooperate with authorities where appropriate.
